ILG Community is a free, national group dedicated to supporting (PA) employers across the UK. Whether you employ PAs directly or manage a budget on behalf of someone else, ILG Community provides a space for connection, guidance, and peer support. We welcome all funding sources, including self-funders and those receiving support through Social Services or the NHS. We also welcome those use self-employed or agency PAs.

ILG Community operates independently. Our governance, decision-making, finances, and campaigns are entirely managed by our committee, ensuring that the community’s interests always come first. Our leadership structure ensures that over 50% of the committee, including the chairperson, are disabled PA Employers. Currently two thirds of the committee have a disability. The remaining members include those who manage budgets for others or have significant expertise in direct payments.

The Independent Living Group provided start-up funding and continue to provide funding for the ongoing operation of ILG Community to support its mission independently.
